“I thought this course was very user friendly and easy to understand. It was motivating in making me care about the content and be open to learning in this area, which is pretty new for me.

“There are a lot of stuff I have learned today in this course, especially the way care needs to go given to Trans People. Overall, very high quality and educative learning material which I would definitely recommend for health providers. In fact, the learning material goes beyond the target group. It could be for all.”

– Nurse

“It was definitely eye-opening. There was a lot of terminology I was not privy to nor ever heard before. I think this course would be a great resource for current and future healthcare professionals.”

– Provider, DC

“I liked that the information was presented in a friendly approach that understands that many healthcare professionals could always use more training in this area.”

– Nurse, FL

As a Queer woman who works in healthcare, I was very impressed by this course. It makes me so relieved and glad that we are trying to educate others in the healthcare setting, as healthcare trauma is very real for people who fall under the trans/enby umbrella. My oldest is also NB and it gives me hope that as they grow up and become an adult, they will have medical staff that are more trained in how to help them. I loved the clickable definitions of each gender word, and how the presenters appeared to be genderqueer themselves. I already am well versed in this as I am apart of the LGBTQIA community, but I did find it very helpful to hear how to ask about sensitive subjects, i.e., body parts of partners. I was very impressed and pleased with the videos. This will be immensely helpful for both the healthcare providers and the patients. I loved being apart of this study. Thank you for making this and having me.”
