Dr. Naomi Isenberg (pronouns: she/her) is a social scientist who is passionate about applying her skills and knowledge to helping organizations foster more diverse, equitable, and inclusive climates for members of historically underrepresented and marginalized groups. She holds a PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Naomi’s research expertise lies in examining psychological mechanisms for promoting inclusive attitudes and behavior within a variety of settings and then applying findings to the development of evidence-based practices and interventions. In her work, she is particular about thoroughly understanding her audience and their goals related to DEI, as well as identifying and addressing any barriers that the audience faces to engaging in greater equity and inclusion. She also has an affinity for facilitating training and interacting directly with individuals to help them achieve their DEI goals.
Naomi’s motivation to pursue this field of work is rooted in her experience growing up in a biracial and working-class family and being a first-generation college graduate.
