DEI Change Facilitators and DEI Leaders need support, knowledge, and tools to expand their skills and achieve their goals

Based on current scientific evidence, and developed and delivered by experienced facilitators and nationally recognized experts, our Change Facilitator Certificate Program provides participants with the knowledge, strategies, tactics, and materials they need to lead positive and lasting change. If you have, or anticipate having, responsibility for advancing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) goals in your organization, this program is for you.

Program Details

People benefit most from training when the concepts, knowledge, skills, examples, and activities are clearly relevant to their unique situations, strengths, challenges, and goals. We use small groups and a combination of workshops, one-on-one expert coaching, and guided individualized asynchronous learning experiences to ensure each participant gains the skills, tools, and confidence they need.

Program Goals

Participants will leave the program with the knowledge, skills, strategies, resources, and best practices they need to effectively implement interventions and create inclusive organizations, including but not limited to:

  • Knowledge of the essential foundations for successful DEI initiatives
  • The latest scientific understanding of organizational factors needed for a positive DEI climate
  • Insight into the nature of human decision-making, person-perception, and the source of cognitive and social bias such as implicit biases
  • Understanding of identity (stereotype) threat, identity safety, and inclusive organizational theory
  • Evidence-based skills and tools for:
    • Interrupting implicit bias
    • Recognizing and addressing hidden factors that affect organizational diversity, equity & inclusion
    • Creating identity-safe teams
    • Recognizing and responding to microaggressions
    • Fostering openness to diverse ideas, world views, and perspectives
    • Creating the best possible outcome for conversations when perspectives, world views, and ideas diverge
    • Facilitating positive learning experiences, as well as overall growth and learning in others
DEI Change Leader Training Program Online Session

Program Structure

Learners move through the program in cohorts of 6 – 10 people and participate in:

  • Six 3-hour live distance workshops (1 per month, 18 hours total)
  • Asynchronous self-guided learning activities with individualized feedback, including access to our full eLearning catalog. Participants spend a minimum of 3 hours on assignments between classes
  • Up to 4 hours of individual or small group coaching in the 6 months following program completion**
  • Each participant will receive a certificate of completion and a resource compendium

Certificate and/or CE carry additional requirements and are optional.

**Additional coaching is available at discounted rates

$7,500 per person
$7,200 per person for 2 or more people registering together
$7,000 per person for 6 or more people registering together
