Justin Tomás Gomez (pronouns: he/they) is an educator at heart. As a Lead Learning Facilitator, Justin helps individuals and organizations uncover their potential for effective and sustainable diversity, equity, and inclusion work. Justin’s facilitation style prioritizes cultural intelligence, technology, and evidence-based strategies to make learning fun and accessible. Justin is a credentialed CQ® Certified Facilitator and Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF®).
Justin identifies as a Nepantlera or “Cultural Navigator” who has been successfully navigating cultures since birth. Justin is the youngest of four children in a multicultural, multigenerational, and multilingual family. Before joining Diversity Science, Justin served as the Principal Facilitator for KOLCHA Collaborative, where he collaborated with educational institutions, non-profits, and corporations on their DEI initiatives. Additionally, Justin led inclusive career development initiatives for more than 30,000 students as the Assistant Director for Career & Professional Development at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Justin is a first-generation college graduate with a Master’s degree in Counseling from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Merced, and an Associate’s degree in Communication from the College of Southern Nevada.
